We have a duty to discharge the Fire Board's obligations in terms of the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and to fulfil this we undertake a programme of risk based audit’s of non domestic premises.
 

These audits are undertaken by the highly skilled district staff based in the 11 districts covering the  Service area.

We also work in partnership with the local authorities and other partners to promote legislative safety education throughout the Service area.
