Our Operations Support Department is managed by Temporary Area Manager Antony Gardner, who is supported by a team of staff to ensure that the Service is placed to meet the demands on our front line operational resources throughout the Service area.

The primary objective of the Department is to ensure the safety of all our personnel at all times, which includes staff working in operational and non-operational roles, by making sure that the correct policies, procedures, operational equipment, personal protective equipment and supporting infrastructure are in place.  This assists our personnel in delivering an efficient and effective service to the people of the Highlands & Islands.

The Department is sub-divided into the following functions that work closely together to achieve the department's objectives.
