IRMP Risk Review of the Service Area

At the full Fire Board meetings held on the 24th April 2009 and the 10th September 2009, members agreed to progress Phase I and Phase II of the Risk Review of the Service Area.
These initial two phases consider the priority for the Services Capital Build Programme and those station which appear to present serious sustainability issues.
Risk Review of the Service Area Phase I – Capital Build Programme
At the full Fire Board meeting held on the 24th April 2009 members agreed a strategy to prioritise the Capital Build Programme for the Service.
The programme, being based upon a methodology which compares stations, identifies those stations which have the highest need to be upgraded by the provision of enhanced accommodation. This may involve building a new station or purchasing / leasing an appropriate building.
