 10:13:27 (10th Mar)

Fire service attendance due to explosion of chemical substances.  Inspection and advice only given. 1 male fatality at incident.

 10:34:40 (10th Mar) Quantity of rubbish destroyed by fire.  Extinguished using 1 hosereel jet.  Whalsay
 09:16:20 (16th Mar) Two vehicle road traffic accident. Crews assisted in release of 1 female casualty  

Brae 

20:58:16 (16th Mar) Crews attended to a fire on a power line which was extinguished on arrival Scalloway
 09:40:59 (18th Mar)  Chimney fire. Extinguished using 1 hose reel jet.  Chimney pot removed Whalsay 
 15:45:36 (19th Mar)  Full emergency at airport. No action required by fire crews as helicopter landed safely.

19:22:07 (19th Mar) Chimney fire. Extinguished using stirrup pump. Whalsay
 14:57:02 (20th Mar)  Contents of skip destroyed by fire. Extinguished using one hosereel jet.  Hillswick
 19:48:00 (23rd Mar) One vehicle road traffic collision.  One casualty was removed prior to the arrival of Fire and Rescue crews. Crews assisted Police force to clear roadway. Brae

 08:44:05 (24th Mar) Crews assisted ambulance to aid an elderly patient to get downstairs  Sumburgh 
 17:09:44 (28th Mar)  Twin engine commerical plane. Aircraft landed safely. No action required by fire service.  Sumburgh

18:39:50 (28th Mar) Single storey detached house. Chip pan and cooker destroyed by fire. Fire damage to kitchen and smoke damage throughout house. Extinguished using one hosereel jet and two breathing appartus. Bressay

 15:33:04 (29th Mar)  Crews assisted police with traffic cordon while siege took place.  Sumburgh
20:05:27 (30th Mar) Bonfire extinguished using 1 jet and 2 hosereel jets. Lerwick
 01:30:47 (31st Mar) Motorcycle Totally destroyed by fire, the fire spread to the front entrance of a hotel causing blistering to paint work and cracking in the double glazing.  Brae 
21:29:19 (31st Mar) Crews attended a chimney fire. There was no damage and the fire was extinguished with one hosereel jet. Sumburgh
