News

Nationally the Fund is currently planning to build a second rehabilitation centre at Harcombe House in Devon.  It has also begun the extention of rehabilitation therapy to the children of firefighters.  The progress of these schemes depends on regular predictable income and fundraising.

Locally, in the Highland and Islands, we are striving to inform all our stakeholders of the benefits of the Fund.  Hopefully we are reaching beneficiaries who are at present unsure of its advantages.

Over the next year John Scott, the FSNBF Gift Aid Officer, has agreed to visit stations within the Service . His primary aim is to inform members of the services the Fund provides.  He will also sign up willing donors to the Gift Aid Scheme which has the great advantage of providing a regular and predictable income for the Fund.
