Grantown Fire Station is run by Station Officer Neil Mutch who has one Sub Officer, two Leading Firefighters and thirteen Firefighters under him.
They average between 250 and 300 calls per year which include chimney fires, heather fires, property fires, activated fire alarms, road traffic accidents and special services.
They are second pump to their neighbouring station in Aviemore and also second pump to Tomintoul who are within Grampian Fire & Rescue Service area.
Training is every Monday night and personnel also attend various courses and refresher training at the Highland and Islands Fire and Rescue Service's Training School in Invergordon.
