towns in Ross Shire, Invergordon, Alness and the surrounding area. It is one of the busiest
retained stations in the Highlands and Islands responding to an average 350 calls per year.

Invergordon is a two pump station. We have two Volvo FL6s which are both kitted
out almost identically so either appliance can respond to any emergency. Each appliance can carry a
crew of 6 firefighters, normally a driver, the officer and 4 crew members in the back. They also
carry around 2000 litres of water, 2 hose reel jets, around 800 metres of larger hose, 1 13.5 metre
ladder, 1 10.5 metre ladder and 1 short extension ladder. We also carry a Clan Lucas rescue
equiptment and various other small gear to aid us in any possible situation.
