A very enjoyable and well attended function took place at Kinlochleven Fire Station upon Saturday 29th Sept. The occasion saw two presentations made by the Deputy Chief Officer Tony Wood. Watch Manager Neil Montgomery received his axe upon retiring from the Service after completing over 32 years at Kinlochleven along with FF Hugh Mackay who also received his Long Service & Good Conduct Medal for over 20 years service. A superb barbecue and buffet organised by station personnel made for a very pleasant evening to mark such dedication to Service and community. |
