The Royal Burgh of Tain, with its ancient history and wonderful wildlife, is a town waiting to be discovered. Tain is a small but thriving town with a population of around 3,500. It is the focal point for an extensive rural area stretching from Edderton in the west to Portmahomack in the east and Nigg in the south. The Dornoch Firth Bridge has enabled easy access to towns in Sutherland and the A9 south to Inverness, means just a 40 minute journey.

Tain has something for everyone. For the active there is plenty to do, with Tain being especially renowned for the wonderful links golf course designed by Tom Morris and the many other courses within easy reach.

Tain is a single pump retained station. We cover an area of Easter Ross, bordered by pumps at Invergordon, Dornoch, Bonar Bridge also a CRU at Balintore.  This picture shows our crew training at Glenmorangie distillery. The management at the well known distillery allow us full use of their facilities.

The crew picture shown is our present crew which consists of Joiners, Store Managers, Plumber, Janitor, Distillery workers, a Chef and a Hairdresser.
