Human Resources - Disability Equality Duty
Seeking the views of Disabled People on Life in the Highlands & Islands.
The Highlands & Islands Fire & Rescue Service (HIFRS) would like to provide the opportunity for employees and members with a disability to take part in a survey asking about their views of life in the Highlands & Islands for disabled people. If you, or a colleague, or relative would like to take part please refer to the attached Disability Equality Duty questionnaire. The questionnaire is also available by post with a reply-paid envelope. Whilst this questionnaire has been developed through the community planning partnership within Highland, as an organisation with a wider remit that extends beyond the Highland area, it is important that we extend this work to cover all areas that we have a responsibility for and we would particularly welcome the viewpoint from the Island Groups.
The return date for HIFRS employees and members is the 10th November. Requests for a copy of the questionnaire by post, and returns by email or post, should go to Leonie Govan, HR Manager, Highlands & Islands Fire & Rescue Service, 16 Harbour Road, Inverness IV1 1TB, email leonie.govan@hifrs.org tel 01463 227000. Please let colleagues who do not have access to the intranet or email know about this (please see attached flyer). If you are made aware of this and need information in a different format, please contact Leonie Govan, details above.
For further information, or, if you are interested in participating further please see
