Engineering and Supply is led by Mr Murray MacKay and consists of two departments: Engineering and Supply is responsible for all aspects of the specifications, new build and maintenance of the extensive vehicle fleet. It also has responsibility for the procurement, issue and record keeping of most of the materials used by the Fire and Rescue Service. This includes equipment, uniform, stationery and workshop inventories. The Head of Engineering and Supply is supported by a team of ten technicians led by a Workshops Supervisor and two Stores assistants supervised by the Stores Controller.
